Our 33rd year! Held on Labor Day, September 3rd. Registration opens from 6:30 -7:30AM and the race starts at 8AM sharp, so allow enough time for your drive to North Salem, find a parking spot and get to registration by 7AM. Here is a location map for the registration and start line.

The race starts in Downtown North Salem at the corner of Broadway and Pearl Streets. The course is out-and-back on lightly traveled country roads with some moderate to difficult hills. The course has mile markers and water stations. Awards given to overall male & female winners in 10K Run, 5K Run, and 5K Walk as well as age group winners in the 10K Run and 5K Run (no age groups in walk).
Pre-register by Sept 2nd for $25, or $30 after and day of race. T-shirts included but only guaranteed if registered by August 21; thereafter shirts not guaranteed though every effort made to provide them to participants.
Free breakfast to all registered runners/walkers with valid meal ticket. Lots of other activities for friends and family!
The Old Fashion Days Bicycle Tour, on Labor Day, Sept 3, is a casual ride along scenic, rolling countryside near North Salem, IN. It is part of the Old Fashion Days Festival and is a fundraiser for the B&O Trail Association.
The event includes a hot lunch or breakfast, marked routes, sag van, refreshment stop, and scenic roads. The route is a figure 8 course, offering 11 and 34 mile routes. All riders start by going northwest out of North Salem. After returning to North Salem and passing the SAG stop, the longer route continues south of North Salem, passing beautiful McCloud Park. The ride includes a breakfast or lunch at one of the festival vendors. Stick around after the ride and enjoy the Old Fashion Days Festival.
Check-in begins at 7:15 AM. The ride begins at 8:30. Breakfast buffet runs from 7:00 to 10:00 AM, so you can eat before or after your ride. Alternatively, you can use your voucher at other food vendors after that.
