Join us for the Old Fashion Days Bike Tour on Labor Day, September 2, 2024. The Old Fashion Days Bike Tour is a casual ride along scenic, rolling countryside near North Salem, IN. It is part of the Old Fashion Days Festival and is a fundraiser for the B&O Trail Association. The event includes a hot breakfast from 7:00am to 10:00am, marked routes, sag van, refreshment stop, and scenic roads. The route is a figure 8 course, offering 11, 33 and 46 mile routes. All riders start by going northwest out of North Salem. After returning to North Salem and passing the SAG stop, the longer routes continue south of North Salem, passing beautiful McCloud Park. Check-in runs from 7:30 AM until 9:00 AM at the United Methodist Church parking lot at 104 W Pearl St (the corner of Pearl and Nebraska). Riders can begin their rides at anytime after checking-in. A breakfast buffet at the church runs from 7:00 to 10:00 AM, so you may want to eat before your ride or try to finish your ride early enough to catch the pancake breakfast before 10:00am.
